A man wanted in a 2005 King City shooting was taken into custody last week near Merced following a high-speed chase. 34-year old Juan Carlos Valenzuela was arrested Friday for an attempted murder warrant in Monterey County for a drive-by shooting. Valenzuela, was one of 4 suspects connected in the incident, three others have already pleaded guilty. Valenzuela is being held in Merced County Jail and is expected to return to Monterey County; he also faces charges of reckless driving and felony driving under the influence in Merced County.
