A not guilty plea was made today by the father of a 6-year old boy who was seriously wounded in August while playing with a gun. Eddie Camacho, of Salinas pleaded not guilty to one felony count of negligent storage of a firearm. The charges follow an August 31st incident when the boy found the firearm stored underneath his parent’s bed at their Santa Rita Street apartment in Salinas. The youth was airlifted to a Bay Area Hospital, meanwhile, Camacho is expected to appear in court on November 10th.
