In an effort to improve navigation around U.C. Santa Cruz, all campus roads, streets, drives and ways have been named. The new names come after many roads were left un-named when the school was founded 45-years ago after a larger network of buildings and streets were envisioned by initial planners. The 29-new street names have been updated on online campus maps but U.C.S.C’s I-T department is expected to send Google and other digital map makers the revisions, which is said to be done within the next few months.
