Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has signed a bill into law that would allow the Salinas Armory to be used for recreation. Assembly Bill 815 will allow the use of the facility for recreational programs. The Salinas Police Activities League hopes to lease the armory to hold after-school and sports programs for Salinas children.
