A beekeeper is expected to recover after being stung by his swarm Tuesday night. According to a Cal-Fire official, the 63-year old hobbyist beekeeper was collecting honey, when he was attacked around 8:30 p.m. in the Santa Cruz mountains near Summit Road and Loma Prieta way on Silverline Road. The man went into anaphylactic shock after being stung over 100 times. He was airlifted to a local hospital after the attack.
