Police in Marina are investigating an attempted armed robbery that was foiled Wednesday afternoon by the home’s resident. Police say the resident of a home on the 100 block of Paddon Place forced the door to stay shut when a man armed with a gun, kicked in the home’s front door at around 12:30 p.m. The suspect, a man in his 20’s, was described as 5-foot-6-inches tall, weighing roughly 150 pounds with short hair and wearing a brown leather jacket when he fled the scene prior to police arriving.Anyone with information is asked to contact Marina police.
