A small earthquake occurred last night on the Central Coast right before midnight. According to the USGS, the 3.4 quake shook at 11:54 p.m. with the epicenter located 10 miles west of Hollister and 10 miles north, north east of Salinas. The quake was felt from Monterey to Gilroy, no injuries or damages were reported.
