A Salinas man was tased after officers responded to a domestic violence dispute over the weekend. Officers arrived at the Kilbreth Avenue home on Sunday evening, to find 31-year old Luis Estrada on top of his wife, after he was reported to have put a pair of scissors to her neck and threatened to kill her, and then himself. Officers say Estrada, who became violent when the victim told him she wanted a divorce, was tased after failing to comply with orders to put his hands up. Estrada was booked into Monterey County Jail for domestic violence charges.
