Hollister city council members are expected to consider a new budget plan this week. City officials tomorrow will discuss adopting a budget with a 12.5-percent cut to the general fund, along with reducing it’s staff and services. Consideration to adopt a budget with a total of 39.3 million dollars, including 14-million in spending from the general fund, is also on the meeting’s agenda. The council is slated to meet a t 6:30 p.m. at Hollister City Hall located at 375 5th Street.
