A Salinas couple will appear in court today after being arrested this week for attempting to sell their 9-month old daughter outside of a Walmart store. 28-year old Patrick Fousek and his girlfriend, 20-year old Samantha Tomasini, were taken into custody after 2 women outside of the Westridge Walmart on tuesday, reported that Fousek tried to sell them his daughter for $25. Police arrested both Fousek and Tomasini at their apartment after finding the 2 high on crystal Meth. Meanwhile, a family member claims that it was all just a joke. Meanwhile, the child was placed in protective custody. At today’s arraignment, Fousek and Tomasini will be charged with suspicion of child endangerment and attempting to abandon a child.
