The 8th Annual Salinas Ag Tech Summit is slated to be held virtually the middle of next month. The march 18th and 19th event will cover policies, best practices, and developing technologies that are coming on-line. By the middle of this century, the world will need to double its agricultural production without causing massive and irreversible damage to the environment. Due to the excess nitrogen from fertilizers, places such as the Elkhorn slough are battling algae blooms created by the increased nitrogen making its way downstream.
