The CZU August Lightning Complex, had burned at least 86,509 acres in Santa Cruz and San Mateo counties, and was considered 80 percent contained. This wildfire has destroyed at least 925 homes and 171 commercial structures, and 7,647 structures are still threatened. 43 hundred people are still evacuated.
The 48,088 acre River Fire acres (burning due south of Salinas), and the 6,905 acre Carmel Fire (burning in the Carmel Vallet) were both fully contained over the weekend.
The 36,237 acre Dolan Fire, burning between Big Sur and Lucia, was considered 40 percent contained as of this evening.
