A fatal shooting in Salinas is being investigated, after a 61-year-old man was found dead on Sunday morning. Salinas Police officers found the victim next to his car; he was declared dead, from a bullet wound to the upper body. A report of a single shot had been called in at 4:45 a.m. The incident is being investigated as a homicide.
