A PROGRAM KNOWN AS WATSONVILLE AREA TEENS CONSERVING HABITAT (OR W.A.T.C.H.) IS EXPECTED TO KICK-OFF THIS YEAR. 53 STUDENTS ARE SLATED TO BE PART OF THE NEW SCIENCE PROGRAM AT PAJARO VALLEY, AND WATSONVILLE HIGH SCHOOLS, THIS FALL. THE PROGRAM IS SPONSORED BY THE PAJARO VALLEY UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT, WORKING WITH THE MONTEREY BAY AQUARIUM.
MENTORS FROM U.C.S.C. – SANTA CRUZ, M.B.A.R.I., AND THE STANFORD POST GRADUATE PROGRAM WILL BE WORKING WITH THE STUDENTS.
