Authorities in santa cruz announced today that more than a-hundred arrests were made over the holiday weekend. the santa cruz county sheriff’s department said that 8-arrests were made on the 4th in unicorporated areas of the county, while santa cruz police announced that officers made 98-arrests, throughout the weekend. officers also wrote 75-citations, mostly for alcohol and fireworks violations. The numbers are a slight increase from 2010.
