CHP says the number of projectile-strikes-car incidents is now up to at least 44 (or 47 based on some news media reports) since they began back in February. The most recent attack took place around 6:30 p.m. Thursday night on Highway 101 between Echo Valley Road and Dunbarton Road.
The reward for the arrest and conviction of those responsible was increased by $4000 last night and now sits at $8500.
