ALTHOUGH FIREFIGHTERS WERE DISPATCHED TO AT LEAST 4 FIRES TODAY, NO ONE WAS INJURED IN ANY OF THEM.
THE FIRST WAS CALLED IN AS A STRUCTURE FIRE SHORTLY BEFORE 1 A.M. IT WAS ON THE 100 BLOCK OF WEST LAKE AVENUE
THE FIRST WILDLAND FIRE BROKE OUT JUST AFTER 1 P.M., NEAR BROMMER STREET AND 30TH IN THE LIVE OAK AREA OF SANTA CRUZ; WHILE THE 2ND WAS CALLED IN JUST BEFORE 2 P.M. THAT ONE WAS ON THE 300 BLOCK OF BREE LANE IN WATSONVILLE. THE 3RD WILDFIRE OF THE DAY BEGAN JUST BEFORE 7 P.M. ON AIRPORT BOULEVARD, NEAR PAJARO LANE (WHICH IS BETWEEN FREEDOM BOULEVARD AND GREEN VALLEY ROAD).
