Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested four people at a Live Oak home on Saturday. At about 8:45 a.m., officers arrived on the 1900 block of Merrill Street to investigate a report of a man sleeping in a vehicle, instead the deputies found computer equipment suspected to be from an San Lorenzo Valley High School burglary. The registered owner of the car was found to be on probation, and a compliance search of the residence recovered 1.6 ounces of methamphetamine and stolen property. 37-year-old Robert Truhitte was arrested for possession of stolen property and drug sales. 38-year-old Jeremy Rivera and 39-year-old Karen Laubenthal were arrested for outstanding warrants, and 25-year-old Mark Clements for being under the influence.
