Flooding, Road Closures As Heavy Rains Fall On Saturated Ground

Take A Look At Some Local Flooding

ONE MAN IS DEAD AND ANOTHER DRIVER CRITICALLY INJURED AFTER AN ACCIDENT IN SAN JOSE THIS MORNING (THURS). OFFICERS RESPONDED TO A REPORT OF A CRASH NEAR ALMADEN EXPRESSWAY AND COLEMAN AVENUE SHORTLY AFTER MIDNIGHT.   UPON ARRIVING AT THE SCENE, POLICE FOUND ONE MAN SUFFERING LIFE-THREATENING INJURIES.  HE WAS PRONOUNCED DEAD AFTER BEING TRANSPORTED TO A HOSPITAL. THE DRIVER OF A SECOND VEHICLE INVOLVED IN THE COLLISION HAS BEEN HOSPITALIZED.   OFFICIALS SUSPECT THE CRASH WAS INFLUENCED BY ALCOHOL.
