A PACIFIC GROVE MAN APPEARED IN COURT YESTERDAY (TUES) ON COUNTS OF POSSESSING STOLEN PROPERTY AND POSSESSING METHADONE.   28-YEAR-OLD JACOB MILLER PLEADED NO CONTEST.    MILLER WAS ARRESTED IN JANUARY UNDER SUSPICION OF BURGLARIZING HOTELS IN PACIFIC GROVE AND MONTEREY.    HOWEVER THE BURGLARY CHARGES WERE DROPPED TODAY AFTER A MAN CAME FORWARD AND CONFESSED.     MILLER WILL BE SENTENCED ON MAY 13TH. MILLER IS THE SON OF MONTEREY COUNTY SHERIFF SCOTT MILLER.
