A HOLLISTER MAN HAS BEEN ARRESTED AFTER LEADING POLICE OFFICERS ON A CHASE IN A STOLEN VEHICLE YESTERDAY (MON) AFTERNOON.   POLICE RECEIVED A REPORT OF A POSSIBLE WANTED SUSPECT DRIVING A STOLEN CAR ON THE 9-HUNDRED BLOCK OF MEMORIAL DRIVE.    RESPONDING OFFICERS APPROACHED 30-YEAR-OLD RUDY GONZALES IN THE CAR. GONZALES IGNORED POLICE ORDERS, COLLIDED WITH THE PATROL AND PROBATION VEHICLES, AND THEN SPED OFF. THE SUSPECT THEN CRASHED INTO A TREE AND FLED ON FOOT. GONZALES WAS DETAINED IN FRONT OF MARGUERITE MAZE SCHOOL.  HE WAS BOOKED INTO SAN BENITO COUNTY JAIL.
