ALTHOUGH NO ONE HAS BEEN SERIOUSLY INJURED THIS MORNING, SEVERAL ACCIDENTS (AND EVEN A LANDSLIDE, AND A SEPARATE ROAD CLOSURE) HAVE BEEN REPORTED IN CONNECTION WITH THIS MORNING’S RAINY WEATHER. AT 9 A-M THERE WAS A 2 VEHICLE ACCIDENT ON SALINAS ROAD IN NORTH MONTEREY COUNTY. JUST BEFORE 9:30 A BIG-RIG OVERTURNED BLOCKING MOUNT HERMON ROAD IN SCOTTS VALLEY. AT 10:08, A MUDSLIDE BLOCKING PART OF SAN ANDREAS ROAD IN SOUTH SANTA CRUZ COUNTY WAS REPORTED. AT 10:25 A-M A 2-CAR ACCIDENT OCCURRED ON HIGHWAY 17 AT LAUREL CURVE; AND AT 10:42 A VEHICLE ON SOUTHBOUND HIGHWAY 101 HIT THE CONCRETE CENTER DIVIDER NEAR THE BORONDA ROAD EXIT.
