After years of praying for rain, Santa Cruz County has had more than its fill. Looking for something to bet on now that the Super Bowl is in the past? Try betting on whether 17 will stay open!

Take A Look At Some Local Flooding

THE  SANTA CRUZ COUNTY OFFICE OF THE C-H-P IS LOOKING FOR A MOTORCYCLIST WHO ENDANGERED OTHER DRIVERS DURING A HIGH SPEED PURSUIT.    THE INCIDENT STARTED AT ABOUT 11:45 AM YESTERDAY (SUNDAY) MORNING NEAR THE SOQUEL DRIVE EXIT ON NORTHBOUND HIGHWAY 1.    OFFICERS SPOTTED A LATINO MALE WEARING BLUE JEANS, BLACK SHOES AND A BLACK HELMET SPEEDING ON A BLACK SPORT BIKE.    WHEN THE C-H-P ATTEMPTED TO STOP THE MOTORCYCLE IT SPED OFF REACHING SPEEDS OF A 100 MILES PER HOUR.    ONCE ON HIGHWAY 17, OFFICERS GAVE UP PURSUIT FOR SAFETY REASONS WHEN THE MOTORCYCLE CROSSED INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC BEFORE EXITING NEAR BEAR CREEK ROAD.  ANY ONE WITH ANY INFORMATION IS URGED TO CONTACT THE C-H-P AT 831 796 2160
