Flooding, Road Closures As Heavy Rains Fall On Saturated Ground

After years of praying for rain, Santa Cruz County has had more than its fill. Looking for something to bet on now that the Super Bowl is in the past? Try betting on whether 17 will stay open!

Take A Look At Some Local Flooding

THE CITY OF SANTA CRUZ IS PLANNING TO PUT UP 30 NEW SIGNS AROUND TOWN.   THE NEW SIGNAGE IS TO REMIND DOG OWNERS TO PICK UP AFTER THEIR PETS, AND WILL BE PLACED IN POPULAR DOG WALKING AREAS SUCH AS WEST CLIFF DRIVE AND PACIFIC AVENUE. THE SIGNS WILL USE HUMOR TO GET THE MESSAGE TO PET OWNERS AFTER A STUDY SHOWED THAT PEOPLE ARE MORE RESPONSIVE TO HUMOROUS REMINDERS.
