Flooding, Road Closures As Heavy Rains Fall On Saturated Ground

After years of praying for rain, Santa Cruz County has had more than its fill. Looking for something to bet on now that the Super Bowl is in the past? Try betting on whether 17 will stay open!

Take A Look At Some Local Flooding

3 THOUSAND LOCAL RUNNERS WILL BE ABLE TO REGISTER TO RUN IN THE WHARF-TO-WHARF RACE EARLIER THIS YEAR. THE LOCAL EARLY REGISTRATION WINDOW IS ON A FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED BASIS AND WILL OPEN MARCH 28TH. IN 2011 IT TOOK 21 DAYS TO FILL OUT THE FIELD, WHILE IN 2012 IT TOOK 6 DAYS, AND LAST YEAR IT TOOK JUST 2 DAYS..….SO RUNNERS WILL WANT TO SIGN-UP SOONER, RATHER THAN LATER. LOCAL REGISTRANTS MUST HAVE A SANTA CRUZ COUNTY BILLING ADDRESS TO BE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE EARLY SIGN-UP. GENERAL REGISTRATION BEGINS APRIL 1ST. TO REGISTER, RUNNERS CAN GO ON-LINE TO
www.WharfToWharf.com
ONLY 16 THOUSAND RUNNERS (TOTAL) CAN REGISTER TO COMPETE IN THE ICONIC 6-MILE RACE (THAT GOES FROM THE SANTA CRUZ WHARF TO THE CAPITOLA WHARF). THIS YEAR THE RACE IS SLATED TO BE HELD JULY 27TH.
