Flooding, Road Closures As Heavy Rains Fall On Saturated Ground

After years of praying for rain, Santa Cruz County has had more than its fill. Looking for something to bet on now that the Super Bowl is in the past? Try betting on whether 17 will stay open!

Take A Look At Some Local Flooding

A COUPLE OF GREAT WHITE SHARKS ARE THOUGHT TO HAVE BEEN SPOTTED OFF OF SEACLIFF STATE BEACH…BUT SO FAR THAT REPORT IS UNCONFIRMED. THE 10-12 FOOT MARINE CREATURES ARE SAID TO HAVE BEEN RESTING NEAR THE CEMENT SHIP….WHICH IS PRETTY COMMON AT THIS TIME OF YEAR. AT THIS TIME IT IS NOT CERTAIN THEY WERE ACTUALLY GREAT WHITES, BECAUSE MAKO AND SALMON SHARKS ARE ALSO COMMON IN THIS AREA BETWEEN NOW AND OCTOBER.
