Flooding, Road Closures As Heavy Rains Fall On Saturated Ground

After years of praying for rain, Santa Cruz County has had more than its fill. Looking for something to bet on now that the Super Bowl is in the past? Try betting on whether 17 will stay open!

Take A Look At Some Local Flooding

A  SHOOTING  THAT  WAS  REPORTED  THURSDAY  NIGHT  IN  SANTA  CRUZ  TURNED  OUT  TO BE  A  HOAX.   VARIOUS  LAW  ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS  RESPONDED  TO  THE  REPORT  OF  “SOMEONE’S  BEEN  SHOT  AND  SHOOTER  SAYS  HE’S  GOING  TO CONTINUE  SHOOTING UNTIL  EVERYONE’S  DEAD”…BUT  NO ONE WAS  LOCATED  AT  THE  HOME  ON  34TH  STREET.  IN  FACT,  IT  IS  VACANT  (AND  UNDER  CONSTRUCTION).    ANYONE  WITH  ANY  INFORMATION ON  THIS  CASE  IS  ENCOURAGED  TO  CONTACT  THE  SANTA  CRUZ  COUNTY  SHERIFF’S  DEPARTMENT.
