Police are investigating the death of a man found shot to death last night in a Salinas Auto Body Shop. Police say 35-year old Juan Carlos Rodriguez, the co-owner of Exclusive Auto Body on 518 East Alisal Street, was found at 5:40 p.m. with multiple gun shot wounds in the upper torso and possibly in the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have no motive at this time and no witnesses have come forward, however it has been determined the fatal shooting is gang related. The death marks the 22nd homicide of the year for the City of Salinas.
