A two-year 34-million dollar repair project is about to get under way at U-C-Santa Cruz.   Stevenson and Kresge infill apartments have been closed for the year due to repair work expected to begin by November 19th.  The plan is to replace all the windows and some of the walls along with roofing in the two buildings.   As a result, Porter-Kresge Road is currently closed weekdays from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. through July. In addition, Cowell and Porter infill apartments will also shut down next year through 2015 to undergo the same repair process.  Students are expected to continue to live in the apartments through June of 2014.
