Flooding, Road Closures As Heavy Rains Fall On Saturated Ground

After years of praying for rain, Santa Cruz County has had more than its fill. Looking for something to bet on now that the Super Bowl is in the past? Try betting on whether 17 will stay open!

Take A Look At Some Local Flooding

A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place next week to mark the opening of a Monterey County interchange.   Local officials will be on hand during Monday’s 1 p.m. event to celebrate the official opening of the Crazy Horse Canyon Junction.   The project, considered a major safety element in the overall Prunedale Improvement Project, will now allow motorists on Highway 101 to exit and enter at Crazy Horse Canyon and Echo Valley Roads without crossing traffic.  The interchange officially opens to traffic Tuesday.
