Arana Gulch Project to Break Ground 10-09-2013 13:30 av

After much delay, construction work on the Arana Gulch multiuse trail, is expected to break ground later this month.   A 4.9 million dollar construction bid was accepted last month to allow a San Francisco-based firm build a bicycle-pedestrian pathway, that will intersect 68-acres of greenbelt above the Santa Cruz Small Craft Harbor.  Santa Cruz Council members also approved last month, receipt of state and regional funding for the project.   The two mile system is designed to connect Broadway to Brommer Street.
