A Salinas man helped catch a robber early Saturday morning. the incident started when A 57 year old man was robbed as he returned home on the 900 block of sage court around 1:30 a-m. a witness who saw the robbery followed the suspect and kept tabs on his whereabouts until police were able to arrest him near freedom parkway and nogal. 29 year old luis Serrano was booked into monterey county jail on robbery charges.
