GOVERNOR  JERRY  BROWN  HAS  SIGNED A  MEASURE THAT  WILL  INCREASE  THE  STATE  MINIMUM  WAGE.     IT  WILL  BE  STEPPED  UP,  STARTING  WITH  IT GOING  UP  TO  9  DOLLARS  PER  HOUR  JULY  1ST OF  2014,  AND  ENDED  UP  AT  10  DOLLARS  PER  HOUR  STARTING JANUARY  1ST  OF  2016.     IT’S  BEEN  AT  LEAST  6  YEARS  SINCE  California  HAS  INCREASED  ITS  MINIMUM  WAGE.
