Take A Look At Some Local Flooding

A TEENAGE BOY TRIED TO ROB AN ICE REAM VENDOR IN SALINAS LAST THURSDAY.    SALINAS POLICE RESPONDED TO A CALL ON THE 11 HUNDRED BLOCK OF RIDER AVENUE, THAT AFTER A YOUTH GRABBED THE 40 YEAR OLD VENDOR FROM BEHIND, AND HELD A KNIFE TO HER SIDE.   THE ROBBERY WAS THWARTED, WHEN SHE SCREAMED, CAUSING THE ASSAILANT TO DROP THE KNIFE AND FLEE.  THE ROBBER IS DESCRIBED AS ABOUT 17 YEARS OLD, WITH A MEDIUM BUILD AND THIN MOUSTACHE.  HE WAS WEARING A BLACK HOODED SWEATSHIRT AND WAS ON A GREEN MOUNTAIN BIKE. ANY ONE WITH ANY INFORMATION IS URGED TO CONTACT THE SALINAS POLICE DEPARTMENT.
