Take A Look At Some Local Flooding

Authorities are looking for a group of boys who tried to harm a young cat on Blackburn Court in Watsonville today (Monday).     A woman allegedly witnessed the boys using a knotted shoelace to hang the cat about 4 feet off the ground from a tree branch.    The woman rescued the cat and called Watsonville Police.  The cat was not hurt and was taken to the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter. Although the police searched the area, none of the boys were found.      The number of boys and their descriptions were unclear.

Anyone with any information is asked to call the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter at 831.454.7254.
