Take A Look At Some Local Flooding

SEVERAL BLAZES WERE EXTINGUISHED THROUGHOUT THE CITY OF SALINAS YESTERDAY.   THE FIRST INCIDENT OCCURRED AFTER THE EXTERIOR OF A HOME ON ENOS ROAD OFF RIVER ROAD IGNITED AROUND 11:30 A.M.    THE BLAZE CAUSED ROUGHLY $10,000 WORTH OF DAMAGE.   OFFICIALS SAY THE FIRE WAS NOT SUSPICIOUS IN NATURE AND NO CAUSE HAS YET BEEN DETERMINED.    A FAULTY HEATER WAS THE CAUSE OF A SECOND FIRE THAT BROKE OUT IN A SOUTH SALINAS APARTMENT ON NISSEN ROAD AROUND 2:30 LEAVING A FAMILY HOMELESS.   CREWS WERE ABLE TO EXTINGUISH THE BLAZE BEFORE ANY OTHER APARTMENTS WERE DAMAGED.
