Flooding, Road Closures As Heavy Rains Fall On Saturated Ground

Take A Look At Some Local Flooding

POLICE IN KING CITY ARRESTED TWO PEOPLE IN CONNECTION WITH A WEEKEND SHOOTING.   OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE 1200 BLOCK OF WELLINGTON AVENUE EARLY YESTERDAY MORNING AFTER RECEIVING A REPORT OF A SHOOTING IN THE AREA.   NO VICTIMS WERE LOCATED.   POLICE THEN RECEIVED ANOTHER REPORT LATER THAT EVENING OF SHOTS FIRED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF TOWN, AND LOCATED A TRUCK DRIVING THROUGH A DIRT LOT.   THE TRUCK WAS PULLED OVER AND A FIREARM WAS FOUND AFTER SEARCHING THE VEHICLE.   19-YEAR OLD ANTHONY MARES AND A 16-YEAR OLD PASSENGER WERE ARRESTED.  POLICE SAY THE 16-YEAR OLD WAS A VICTIM IN THE EARLIER SHOOTING, AND SAY THE SECOND SHOOTING WAS IN RETALIATION TO THE FIRST INCIDENT.
