Flooding, Road Closures As Heavy Rains Fall On Saturated Ground

After years of praying for rain, Santa Cruz County has had more than its fill. Looking for something to bet on now that the Super Bowl is in the past? Try betting on whether 17 will stay open!

Take A Look At Some Local Flooding

AN APTOS BIKE THIEF IS BEHIND BARS AFTER REGISTERING A STOLEN BIKE IN HIS NAME.   POLICE SAY 32-YEAR OLD TITONIDAE WILDEN WAS SPOTTED RIDING A STOLEN BICYCLE BEFORE REGISTERING IT IN HIS OWN NAME AT THE POLICE DEPARTMENT.   HE THEN TRIED TO SELL THE BIKE ON CRAIGSLIST, WHEN POLICE DISCOVERED THE SAME BIKE HAD BEEN REPORTED STOLEN SEVERAL DAYS LATER.  WILDEN WAS ARRESTED AND THE BIKE WAS RETURNED TO IT’S OWNER.  POLICE MEANWHILE REMIND BIKE OWNERS OF THE IMPORTANCE OF REGISTERING BICYCLES.  IN THE EVENT OF A THEFT, THE OWNER HAS A BETTER CHANCE OF HAVING THEIR BIKES RETURNED.
