THE GRAND OPENING OF THE NEW 7 MILLION DOLLAR STADIUM AT THE SALINAS SPORTS COMPLEX KICKED-OFF SATURDAY MORNING.  RABOBANK STADIUM WAS THE SITE OF A DAYS WORTH OF FOOTBALL GAMES, STARTING AT 10 A-M AND RUNNING INTO THE EVENING, FEATURING LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL TEAMS FROM AROUND THE AREA. RABOBANK PAID 1 MILLION DOLLARS FOR 25 YEARS OF NAME RIGHTS TO THE NEW STADIUM WHICH REPLACED THE OLD HOME OF THE SALINAS SPURS MINOR LEAGUE BASEBALL TEAM
