MULTIPLE CITATIONS WERE ISSUED LAST MONTH IN WATSONVILLE TO ADULTS SELLING ALCOHOL TO UNDERAGE JUVENILES.    THE FINES WERE PART OF AN ALCOHOL ENFORCEMENT OPERATION THAT TOOK PLACE ON AUGUST 16TH AND 23RD.    AN UNDERAGE PERSON WORKED WITH WATSONVILLE POLICE TO BUY ALCOHOL AT CERTAIN STORES.  A WATSONVILLE STORE CLERK, ALONG WITH FOUR OTHER ADULTS WERE CITED FOR FURNISHING ALCOHOL TO THE MINOR.  POLICE ALSO CITED 4-UNDERAGE TEENS FOR POSSESSING ALCOHOL ON THOSE DAYS.  THE OPERATION IS FUNDED BY A STATE RUN GRANT AND IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THROUGH JUNE OF 2014.
