THE  EXECUTIVE  DIRECTOR  OF  SAVE  OUR  SHORES  SAILED  ACROSS  THE MONTEREY  BAY TODAY…SOMETHING  LAURA  KASA SAYS  SHE  HAS  NEVER  DONE  BEFORE.     SHE  WENT  ON TODAY’S  TRIP  WITH  OCEAN  ADVOCATES  MATT  McFadyen,  AND    CAMERON  WEBB,  WHO  USED  IT  AS  A  TEST-RUN  FOR A  LONGER  TRIP  THEY  PLAN  TO  LEAVE  ON  IN  JULY.

THAT MUCH-LONGER  VOYAGE,   WITH  WHICH  THEY  HOPE  TO  RAISE  MONEY  FOR  SAVE  OUR  SHORES AND  THE COASTAL  WATERSHED,    HAS  BEEN  NAMED  “BEYOND  THE  CIRCLE”…. AND  THEY  PLAN  TO  PADDLE  A  17-FOOT  BOAT  ABOUT  2  THOUSAND  MILES  THROUGH  THE  NORTHWEST  PASSAGE TO THE  ARCTIC  CIRCLE.
