A Pacific Grove man and his 2 children are recovering from injuries they sustained when the 3 were hit by lightning. 51 year-old Chris Lovera (who works for the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute) and his 9 and 12 year-old kids were vacationing in Sequoia National Forest when the incident occurred. They were air-lifted to an area trauma center and have since been released from the hospital.
