Although the forward progress of the Stage Fire, near Prunedale was reportedly halted at 10-12 acres last night, firefighters have been keeping an eye on-scene overnight.
The Stone Fire, that broke out off highway 25 near Paicines around 5:20 yesterday afternoon, was contained to 1.5 acres last night, and firefighters cleared that scene before 8 p.m.
King City firefighters put out a blaze there overnight as well. That fire was contained to about a quarter acre.
