Salinas police are investigating a second shooting that took place near a Friday fatal shooting. Officers responded to the 8 hundred block of East Laurel Drive at 8:30 A-M Saturday morning to reports of a gunshot victim. At the scene police found a 29 year old shooting victim. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment. Detectives are trying to determine if the two shootings are related.
