Police in gilroy are investigating 2-recent attempted kidnapping incidents, which are (as of now), not believed to be related. the first incident occurred last week, in front of a home on the 76-hundred block of miller avenue, when a man tried to lure a 10-year-old girl into his van. She ran to safety inside the house. Then, yesterday, a man attempted to convince 3-children to get in his vehicle, on the 9-hundred block of Ortega circle. The children fled and were unharmed. In that case, the vehicle involved is described as a white, early-90s, 2-door Honda, with its roof painted black. Anyone with information about either incident is encouraged to contact the Gilroy police department.
