The 2nd suspect involved in the assault of a santa cruz police officer, has turned herself in. 25-year-old shivhan marie Armstrong surrendered at the santa cruz county jail at 9 a.m. this morning. Armstrong was allegedly the passenger in a pickup truck that was driven by 37-year-old ryan mang. Mang, was arrested on Sunday. The 2 are accused of fleeing in the truck, as the officer tried to grab the keys from the ignition. The officer was dragged 30 feet, but has recovered. Armstrong is facing a possible felony charge of assault of a police officer.
