The 20th annual Snapshot Day took place Saturday. Snapshot Day is a day, when volunteers take part in the oldest and largest single-day water quality monitoring event in communities throughout California. In the Monterey Bay area water samples were taken from rivers, streams and lakes. Snapshot Day is part of an effort to protect and enhance water quality throughout sanctuary watersheds statewide
