2015 Proposed for Seaside In-N-Out 10-09-2013 08:30 av

Early 2015 is the proposed time frame of when the Monterey Peninsula is expected to get an In-N-Out Burger Outlet.   Seaside City Council members unanimously approved a process this week that would take about a year for the Southern California Fast-Food Restaurant Chain and the City to reach an agreement.  Before development plans can move forward, the city needs approval from the oversight board and the state Department of Finance, along with a new appraisal of the proposed site.  The deal calls for 2.1 acres of city land to be used at a site on 1350 Del Monte Avenue. The restaurant is expected to employ up to 75 local people. The closest restaurant to the Peninsula is in Salinas.
