a hollister man accused of stabbing and killing another man in 2007 has been sentenced. jose covian was convicted of first degree murder for the death of alejandro hurtado in december 2007. covian and hurtado were involved in a confrontation outside of a home on c street at the end of a cul de sac. covian was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison.
