2-people were arrested early Monday on drug-related charges. 32-year-old felton resident andrea azevedo was parked in a gas station parking lot in the live oak area, when she was contacted by santa cruz county sheriff’s deputies. Azevedo was arrested for outstanding warrants for theft and drug possession. She was also found to be driving with a suspended license. During her booking, she was discovered to be in possession of heroin, and was arrested for possession with intent to sell. Parked next to azevedo’s vehicle was 24-year-old santa cruz resident valentine sigala patino. He was arrested after deputies searched his backpack and allegedly found more than 8-grams of methamphetamine, and other drugs. Patino was booked into santa cruz county jail on multiple charges.
